Perm Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology, north central Texas

Looking to make a change? We are hiring a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner in north central TX!

Job details:

• Full-time, inpatient NICU position

• 12- and 24-hour shifts managing:

  • 8–10 patients during day shifts

  • 20–30 patients during night shifts (with team support)

• Participate in procedures and high-risk deliveries

• Practice within a collaborative care team including 3–4 NNPs, Residents, Fellows, and Neonatologists on night shifts

• 72 weekend hours required per 6-week schedule (includes Friday night through Monday 7:00 am)

• EMR: EPIC

Requirments:

• NPs with NICU experience in Level III or IV settings

  • Newly graduated NNPs with 3+ years prior NICU RN/NP experience are welcome

  • Other NP specialties (FNP, PNP, PMHNP, WHNP, Adult) may be considered with relevant NICU experience

• Must be APRN-authorized to practice in a recognized specialty

• Must be comfortable managing a high-acuity, high-volume environment

• Clean malpractice and license history

• Not open to Locums, 1099, or visa candidates

• Credentialing takes approximately 4–6 months
