Full-Time Neonatology Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Kansas City, MO
Join a dedicated and collaborative NICU team at multiple facilities across the Kansas City metro area! This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a well-rounded and experienced environment, providing comprehensive neonatal care in a regionally recognized perinatal referral center.
The facilities feature:
- A 49-bed, Level-IIIB NICU and a 15-bed Level-IIIA NICU.
- Comprehensive neonatal care with advanced ventilator support.
- Family-centered care programs, including partnerships with the March of Dimes.
- Large individual suites designed for comfort and family accommodation.
- An engaging work environment with active involvement in quality improvement initiatives and education.
- A comprehensive new grad program for recent graduates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care to neonates in a high-acuity environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to unit functions.
- Collaborate with an experienced team of healthcare professionals.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development programs.
- Support and mentor new graduates transitioning into the field.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- Master’s degree or higher in nursing.
- Current APRN national specialty certification in Neonatology.
- Experience in NICU or pediatrics is preferred.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Missouri APRN license (or willingness to obtain).
- Current NPDB Self Query Report.
- DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
