Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) – Locum Tenens
Location: Tucson, AZ
Specialty: Labor & Delivery / Newborn Nursery
Assignment Type: Locum Tenens – Department Restructuring
Coverage Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Shift Type: 24/7 Call Coverage
- Round on newborns in the morning
- Remain on call for the duration of the shift
- Schedule:
- Inpatient and outpatient
- Telehealth: Yes
- Patient Census: 1–6 newborns per shift
- Beds: 6-bed newborn nursery
- Holiday Coverage Required:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Provider Requirements:
- License: Must hold or be eligible for Arizona license
- Role: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Experience: Prior experience in LDRP and newborn nursery required
EMR: Epic
Staffing Need: 2 NNPs to provide continuous 24/7 coverage for a newly opened LDRP/Newborn Nursery unit
