Join Our Neonatology Team as a Nurse Practitioner in Macon, Georgia!

Pediatrix is seeking an additional Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our exceptional group of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at our vibrant practice located in Macon, Georgia. Experience a state-of-the-art, Level-III NICU within our new Children's Hospital, recognized for Nursing Excellence with Magnet designation!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care in a 66-bed, state-of-the-art Level-III NICU.
• Engage in variable shifts including 10-hour days Monday through Thursday and 8-hour shifts on weekends.
• Manage night coverage with one NNP covering 16-hour nights four days per week.
• Utilize advanced services including high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapies, and brain cooling.
• Work in collaboration with readily available subspecialty support.
• Deliver exceptional coverage and support among experienced NNPs.
• Hold a clinical appointment with Mercer Medical School.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing.
• Board Certified NNP (not accepting FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications).
• Two or more years of current employment experience as an NNP (RN experience does not count).
• Must be located in Georgia or willing to obtain a Georgia license.
• DEA must be obtained prior to start without exemptions.

License and Certification Requirements:
