Job Opportunity: Permanent Nurse Practitioner in Neonatology
Join a well-established neonatal practice with over 30 years of service at a leading Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit located in Tallahassee, Florida. This facility is the only designated Level-III NICU in the area, accommodating high-risk pregnancies and critically ill infants. You will be part of a multi-specialty team, including neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, and pediatric hospitalists, committed to providing family-centered quality care in a friendly and professional atmosphere.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care in a 34-bed Level-III NICU with an average daily census of 25.
- Manage care for approximately 3,500 annual deliveries.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of specialists, including pediatric cardiology and pediatric neurology.
- Participate in transport services staffed by specialized neonatal personnel.
- Work a flexible schedule of 8-hour and 24-hour shifts as required.
- Maintain high standards of care and engage with families to ensure their needs are met.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing.
- Current NNP Board Certification (FNP, PNP, and other NP certifications are not accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong commitment to family-centered care and team collaboration.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Florida Nursing License (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA registration required prior to starting.
