Job Opportunity: Permanent Nurse Practitioner in Neonatology

Join a well-established neonatal practice with over 30 years of service at a leading Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit located in Tallahassee, Florida. This facility is the only designated Level-III NICU in the area, accommodating high-risk pregnancies and critically ill infants. You will be part of a multi-specialty team, including neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, and pediatric hospitalists, committed to providing family-centered quality care in a friendly and professional atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide quality care in a 34-bed Level-III NICU with an average daily census of 25.
• Manage care for approximately 3,500 annual deliveries.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of specialists, including pediatric cardiology and pediatric neurology.
• Participate in transport services staffed by specialized neonatal personnel.
• Work a flexible schedule of 8-hour and 24-hour shifts as required.
• Maintain high standards of care and engage with families to ensure their needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing.
• Current NNP Board Certification (FNP, PNP, and other NP certifications are not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
• Strong commitment to family-centered care and team collaboration.
• Clean malpractice history preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current Florida Nursing License (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA registration required prior to starting.
