Exciting Opportunity for Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology in Greater Phoenix, AZ

Join a thriving practice in the vibrant Greater Phoenix area, a region known for its stunning desert landscapes, warm climate, and diverse culture. You will be part of a dedicated team of Neonatologists and Nurse Practitioners in a facility that caters to high-risk deliveries with three Level III-IV NICUs and several Special Care Nurseries. This full-time role offers a chance to make a significant impact in neonatal care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care for infants in the NICU in collaboration with Neonatologists.
• Manage coverage for three Level III-IV NICUs and expand to six Level II Special Care Nurseries.
• Participate in evening shifts alongside a Neonatologist.
• Contribute to 24/7 Level II unit coverage with in-house NNPs and daily rounds.
• Share responsibilities for attending deliveries with Neonatologists.
• Flexible scheduling with a combination of 12 and 24-hour shifts tailored to unit/team needs.
• No transport duties required.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Board Certified Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NNP is highly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified NNP (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications).
• Current Arizona License or willingness to obtain one.
• DEA certification must be obtained prior to start.
