Schedule

• Schedule would include day shifts (8a-6p), night shifts (5p-8a), or 24-hours (8a-8a)
• Weekends and holidays required as needed

Clinical Details

• Level III Perinatal NICU
• Inpatient
• 48 bed with stepdown unit
• Average Number of Cases per day: Average 8-10 on each NNP team
  • Overnight covers both NNP teams; cover deliveries and transition nursery
• Level I Trauma Center

Requirements

• NCC Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
• NRP Certificate
• Active IL License
• BLS (AHA)
• Clean malpractice/history – Highly Preferred
• Covid vaccinated
• Procedures Required:
  • Lumbar Punctures
  • Intubations
  • UAC/UVC
  • PAL
  • PICC
  • Needle aspiration/chest tube
  • Arterial sticks
  • Delivery Attendance

Support Staff

• 24-hour physician in-house coverage
• RNs, Techs/Assistants, etc.
