Our client in Gaston County, NC is in need of a Permanent Neonatal Nurse Practitioner!

Job Details:

• Start ASAP
• This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year
• An average daily census of about 5 newborns
• 24-hour shifts: rounding on newborns in-house during the day and then take call from home
• NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home
• Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns for newborns needing higher level care

Job Requirements:

• Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing - REQUIRED
• Current APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications) - REQUIRED
• NC license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• 2+ years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) – REQUIRED
