Description:
  • (Has to be a minimum of 4-5 liners): We are looking for a certified Nurse Practitioner in Neonatology to join our Team with expertise in leadership, clinical excellence, and the ability to energize others and value community both in and out of work.
Position highlights:

ONLY ACCEPT NNPS WITH A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS LEVEL ¾ EXPERIENCE AS HAVE TO BE ABLE TO OPERATE INDEPENDENTLY WITH NEONATOLOGISTS NOT IN-HOUSE
  • Must be Board Certified Neonatal NP with MSN (cannot accept PAs, FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
  • Sizes of each NICU ( # of beds): 14 AND 10 LEVEL 2 BEDS RESPECTIVELY
  • How many NNPs are currently on the team? 8
  • How many deliveries per year or month take place in each NICU? @ 600-1000
  • What % of the NNP's time is spent in well-baby care? 50%
  • Provide Level II-III NICU care, including ventilator management, central line placement, and chest tube insertion
  • In addition to direct NICU patient care, the NNP role involves normal newborn care and delivery attendance
  • NNPs are NOT responsible for the transport
  • NP must be comfortable with autonomy

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing - REQUIRED
  • Neonatal NP - Board Certified - REQUIRED (cannot accept PAs, FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
  • Active FL License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • 2+ years of experience as NNP - REQUIRED
