Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team in Edmond, Oklahoma, as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in General Medicine. This role involves providing essential healthcare services to our nation's Veterans through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Ideal candidates will work either in a VES facility or their own office, ensuring supportive care within a vibrant community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based evaluations, including physical assessments like range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete required documentation and reports for each examination.
• Provide services on a PRN basis, with options for half or full days.
• Ensure no prescribing or treatment; focus on assessment and evaluation.
• Maintain compliance with all necessary follow-up administrative work.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, diagnosing respiratory, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
• Must possess a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
• AANP certification is required.
• Ability to complete DMA training for certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma.
• AANP certification.
• Current home address is mandatory for presentation.
