Adventist Health Portland (AHPL) is seeking a mission-driven Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join our growing Bariatric Surgery Clinic, a multidisciplinary bariatric program dedicated to whole-person, sustainable weight-loss care.
Position Overview
This is a dynamic role with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The APP will be following patients on the course of their weight loss journey from the very beginning, and we may use meds or surgery as the treatment tool, working in collaboration with two surgeons.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
- Current Oregon PA/NP license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in bariatric medicine, surgery, primary care, or related specialty preferred
- Strong interest in metabolic health, obesity medicine, and lifestyle-focused care
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient relationship-building skills
