We’re seeking experienced General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension Exams and Separation Health Assessments for our nation’s Veterans. This rewarding PRN, ongoing locum opportunity allows you to provide high-quality, non-treatment exams with flexibility and purpose.

🩺 Role Overview:

• Locations:
  • Sioux Falls, SD – 4 days/week (must live within 25 miles)
  • Pierre, SD – 1 day/week (own office required if not near VES site)
• Flexible scheduling: ½-day (4 hrs) or full-day (8 hrs) options
• Non-treatment exams only: Focused on interviews and physical assessments (range of motion, muscle strength, METs testing, etc.)
• No prescribing, no follow-up care
• Quick credentialing & onboarding process
• Bonus upto $500 available upon completion of training and initial exams
• Local candidates preferred
  
• 💵 Compensation : - Half-day Rate - $510 - $515 flat rate for 4 hour shifts or less
  - Daily Rate - $1025 - $1030 flat rate for 5 hour shifts or longer

🎯 Ideal Specialties:

• Family Medicine
• Internal Medicine
• Orthopaedic Surgery
• Physicians or APPs with General Medicine or C&P experience

🧠 Required Qualifications:

✅ Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory/cardiovascular conditions
✅ AANP certification – Required
✅ Active & unrestricted South Dakota license
✅ Willingness to complete DMA training & certification
✅ Own a Windows-based laptop (no Mac/Apple)
✅ CV must include current home address
✅ Willing to perform General Medicine exams

📋 Additional Details:

• Providers must complete and submit all required addendums and reports
• No additional pay for follow-up administrative work
• Administrative, diagnostic review, and documentation expected within assigned day rate
• Must not be on active military duty, in the reserves, or employed by the VA
