Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation and Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform interview-based examinations with some physical assessments, including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
- Complete required documentation, including reports and addendums.
- Ensure quick credentialing and onboarding for seamless integration into the practice.
- Work on a PRN basis with the option of half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts.
- Cater to veterans in your own office or a designated facility.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted full Nurse Practitioner license.
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- AANP certification.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine, particularly with compensation and pension services.
- Must own a laptop (non-Mac) for documentation and reporting purposes.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Alaska.
- AANP certification.
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
