Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team at an established facility in Houston, Arizona, focused on serving our nation’s veterans. We are seeking General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This position offers flexible work arrangements, whether at a VES facility or in your own office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments on a per diem basis.
• Conduct interview-based examinations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Maintain compliance with all administrative duties, including completing reports and submitting any required addendums.
• Collaborate with the facility team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Work either half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) based on availability and patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Ownership of a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• AANP certification required.
• Active and unrestricted full license to practice.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona.
• AANP certification required.
