Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

This practice focuses primarily on Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, providing essential support and care to those who have served. As a General Medicine Provider, you will work in an environment that values compassion and commitment, with options for both per diem at a facility and the flexibility of your own office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct interview-based examinations with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Perform one-time non-treatment Compensation and Pension exams.
- Complete associated administrative tasks such as reports and addendums within the allotted shift time.
- Provide care on a PRN basis, with the option to work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
- Ensure compliance with training requirements, including DMA certification.
- Maintain an active presence in community outreach and veteran support initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted nursing license in Arizona.
- Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Proficient in METs testing and the evaluation of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Experience in compensation and pension roles is a plus.
- Ability to use a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
- Willingness to complete DMA training and become DMA certified.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current nursing license in Arizona (Active and unrestricted).
- AANP certification required.
- Must provide license and certification numbers for verification.
