Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join our team in Houston, California! We are seeking dedicated General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a government contractor aiding our nation's Veterans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
• Perform physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Execute interview-based exams, with no prescribing or treatment involved.
• Complete necessary documentation, including reports and addendums.
• Work flexible hours, including half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) slots.
• Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing with experience in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Own a laptop (Windows only, no Mac/Apple products).
• Must possess an active and unrestricted full Nurse Practitioner license.
• Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
• Ability to complete DMA training for certification.
• Current home address must be within a specified radius of the work area.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California (CA).
• AANP certification required.
• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become certified.
