Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Join our dedicated team in providing vital health assessments to our nation's heroes! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in beautiful Houston, Idaho. This position offers flexible options to work either from your own office or per diem at a designated facility.
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to serve Veterans while enjoying a supportive work environment. You can work PRN and choose half-day or full-day shifts. We are committed to helping our nation's Veterans through efficient and compassionate care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Perform clinical evaluations primarily through interviews with some physical assessments.
- Administer range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Submit detailed examination reports, including addenda as required.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification processes as needed.
- Work collaboratively within a healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must have a reliable laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Hold an AANP certification.
- Possess an active and unrestricted full license to practice.
- Willing to complete DMA training for certification.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine highly preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Active State License in Idaho (ID).
- AANP Certification (American Association of Nurse Practitioners).
