Job Title: Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners for General Medicine to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Our practice operates primarily in Houston, Kentucky, where you'll find a dedicated and compassionate environment committed to addressing the healthcare needs of Veterans.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform interviews and physical assessments for Compensation & Pension exams.
• Conduct Separation Health Assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Provide professional expertise and documentation to support the completion of exams.
• Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
• Follow strict guidelines: No prescribing or treatment involved.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Kentucky.
• Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
• Proficiency in METs testing, respiratory, and cardiovascular evaluations.
• Must possess a laptop (Windows-based; no Mac/Apple products).
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred.

License and Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Kentucky (KY).
• AANP Certification.
• DMA Certification completion required post-hire.
