Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Join a dedicated team as a Nurse Practitioner in General Medicine, providing essential services across the country. This position involves performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for our nation's Veterans. Work either from your own office or at a nearby VES facility.
Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) is a premier provider of medical assessments, committed to supporting Veterans. Our operations offer both per diem and office-based opportunities, ensuring flexibility and a rewarding work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform interviews with Veterans, alongside minimal physical assessments, including range of motion testing and muscle strength tests.
- Complete necessary paperwork and submit reports, including any required addendums.
- Work on a per diem, PRN basis with options to select half-day or full-day shifts.
- Engage in quick credentialing and onboarding to facilitate seamless entry into practice.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Active and unrestricted full license to practice in Minnesota.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Minnesota Nurse Practitioner license.
- AANP certification.
