Locum - Internal Medicine - NP

Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team focused on supporting our nation's Veterans by providing essential general medicine expertise for Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessment, focusing on range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Manage quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
• Potentially work half days (4-hour shifts) and/or full days (8-hour shifts) based on availability.
• Complete all required documentation and reports related to examinations, including addendums.
• Engage in regular follow-up administrative work as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, and evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Ownership of a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
• AANP certification is required.
• Active and unrestricted full license to practice in Missouri.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must hold a valid nursing license in Missouri.
• AANP certification is required.
