Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine in Houston, MO

As a General Medicine Provider, you will play a vital role in conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This opportunity is part of a reputable government contracting organization focused on delivering exceptional care for veterans. The practice offers flexibility through options for per diem coverage and the possibility of using your own office for evaluations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Primarily perform interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete all required reports, including any addendums, on the same day as the exam.
- Utilize your own office or approved facility to perform evaluations within a specified radius.
- Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions - [REQUIRED]
- Must own a laptop (Windows based, no Mac/Apple products) - [REQUIRED]
- AANP certification - [REQUIRED]
- Active and unrestricted nurse practitioner license - [REQUIRED]
- Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified - [REQUIRED]
- Current CV with address for presentation - [REQUIRED]
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid nurse practitioner license in Missouri - [REQUIRED]
- AANP certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners - [REQUIRED]
