Job Title: Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Join our dynamic healthcare practice in Houston, TX! We are seeking talented General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for our nation's Veterans. Our facility is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare services and ensuring the well-being of those who have served. This role allows flexibility, offering both per diem opportunities and the chance to see patients from your own office.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Perform interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- No prescribing or treatment is involved; focus on non-treatment evaluations.
- Complete required training and quickly onboard to start providing services.
- Manage follow-up administrative work, including writing reports and addendums.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- AANP certification is required.
- Active and unrestricted full license in New Mexico.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid license number for practice.
- Certification number from AANP.
