Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join our dedicated team of General Medicine Providers to deliver essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in Houston, Nevada. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct interview-based assessments with a focus on patients' physical health.
• Perform physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of reports, including any necessary addendums.
• Collaborate with Veterans and support their health assessment needs.
• Participate in ongoing training and fulfill certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada.
• Proficient in METs testing and assessing respiratory and cardiovascular health.
• Experience in General Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Orthopedic Surgery preferred.
• Possession of a laptop (Windows operating system only).
• Must be willing to complete DMA training for certification.

Licenses and Certification Requirements:

• AANP certification (American Association of Nurse Practitioners).
• Current Nevada state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
• DMA certification required upon completion of training.
