Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine in Houston, TX

We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This opportunity is available both at VES facilities and in your own practice, allowing for flexible working options tailored to your availability.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- No prescribing or treatment involved.
- Complete required documentation including reports and addendums.
- Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing, respiratory and cardiovascular evaluation and diagnosis.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Active member of AANP and possess a full, unrestricted nursing license in Nevada.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in general medicine or related fields is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted nursing license in Nevada.
- AANP certification required.
