Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

As a General Medicine Provider, you will play a vital role in conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. With various coverage options available, including the opportunity to work from your own office, this position is designed for flexibility and impact.

Job Responsibilities:

• Offer Compensation & Pension exams, primarily interview-based with some physical assessments.
• Conduct Separation Health Assessments on a PRN basis.
• Ensure accurate reporting of exam outcomes, including necessary addendums.
• Engage in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
• Maintain all required training and perform initial exams effectively.
• Work half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Ownership of a laptop (no Apple products).
• AANP certification required.
• Active and unrestricted nursing license in New York.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current nursing license in New York - REQUIRED
• AANP certification - REQUIRED
• Completion of DMA training - REQUIRED
