Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
• Perform interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete administrative work related to examinations, including report submissions and addendums.
• Work on a PRN basis with the option for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts.
• Provide evaluations without prescribing or treatment.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing as well as evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (non-Mac products).
• Current AANP certification.
• Active and unrestricted full Nurse Practitioner license.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in South Dakota.
• AANP certification is required.
