Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

This position allows you to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in a collaborative environment. Our practice is committed to providing high-quality services to our Veterans, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based examinations, including some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Maintain meticulous records and complete reports, including any necessary addendums.
• Ensure thorough evaluations of respiratory and cardiovascular health.
• Adhere to all guidelines and protocols established by the practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must have an AANP certification.
• Active and unrestricted nursing license in Utah.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid AANP certification.
• Full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Utah.
• Electronic documentation capabilities - must own a compatible laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
