Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine in Houston, VA
Join our team as a General Medicine Provider, where you will play a vital role in performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across the country. This position offers flexibility as you can work from our facility or your own office within a 50-mile radius of Houston.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform examinations that are predominantly interview-based, including some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Ensure thorough and accurate report writing, including any necessary addendums.
- Complete administrative tasks related to the evaluations on a regular basis.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the highest quality of care for Veterans.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular health.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- AANP certification is required.
- Active and unrestricted full license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia (VA).
- AANP certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
