Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team serving our nation's Veterans through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Based in Houston, Washington, this healthcare facility values innovation and compassion in delivering essential services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
• Maintain thorough documentation and submit reports, including any addendums.
• Work on a PRN (as-needed) basis with options to work half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to support patient care.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• AANP certification required.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Washington.
• Willingness to complete DMA training to achieve DMA certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Washington (WA).
• AANP certification.
• Completion of DMA training for certification, if not already certified.
