Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner in General Medicine

We are seeking General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension Exams and Separation Health Assessments in beautiful Houston, WA. As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting PRN Compensation & Pension exams, including separation health assessments.
• Performing primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
• Completing required documentation and submitting reports, inclusive of any addendums.
• Working flexible hours including options for ½ days (4 hours) and full days (8 hours).
• Collaborating with a team focused on quick credentialing and onboarding.
• Maintaining an office within a 50-mile radius of the city.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted full nurse practitioner license in Washington.
• AANP certification.
• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Ownership of a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
• Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
• Familiarity with general medicine, with experience in compensation and pension evaluations preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington.
• AANP certification is required.
• Completion of DMA certification training will be necessary.
