Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join our dedicated team in Houston, Washington as a General Medicine Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in supporting our nation's Veterans. You will be involved in performing Compensation and Pension exams, as well as Separation Health Assessments, either at our facility or your own office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Conduct interviews and basic physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete required documentation and assessments efficiently.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive evaluation of patient needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, whether at a facility or your own office.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. [REQUIRED]
• Ownership of a non-Mac/Apple laptop. [REQUIRED]
• AANP Certification. [REQUIRED]
• Active and unrestricted nursing license in Washington State. [REQUIRED]
• Willingness to complete DMA training to achieve DMA certification. [REQUIRED]

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current and active nursing license in Washington, with no compact license accepted.
• AANP certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
