Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

This position offers an opportunity to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in various locations, including the vibrant city of Houston, TX. You will be part of a respected practice committed to delivering high-quality evaluations while ensuring the health and well-being of our heroes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based evaluations, including some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of assessments and findings.
• Collaborate effectively with the administrative team for seamless operational support.
• Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
• Stay updated on best practices in general medicine and compensation assessments.

Qualifications:

• Proven proficiency in METs testing, respiratory, and cardiovascular evaluations.
• Possession of a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Current certification from the AANP.
• Active and unrestricted full license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license.
• Certification number for AANP.
• DMA certification is required before the commencement of practice.
