Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a potential civilian Nurse Practitioner, DRHA (Deployment-Related Health Assessments) at Mcconnell Air Force Base in Wichita, KS.

Job Description:

• Provides direct patient care and nursing administrative duties for outpatients in accordance with established procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
• Requires providing Separation Health and Physical Examinations (SHPE) related support that complies with Department of Defense and Air Force SHPE policy and guidance.
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and become proficient in the use of Composite Health Care Systems (CHCS), Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Aeromedical Services Information
• Management System (ASIMS), and Preventive Health Assessment and Individual Medical Readiness (PIMR).
• Responsibilities include attending SHPE related meetings or training, monitoring and updating SHPE related metrics, scheduling SHPE appointments, completing and documenting SHPE assessments, and training clinic staff on SHPE completion and metrics.

Job Requirements:

• Graduation from a State Board of Nursing approved LPN training program or equivalent military training that permits sitting for the state licensure examination.
• Must have practiced as an LPN performing hands-on patient care in the outpatient clinical setting for at least 12 months within the past 24 months.
• BLS from the American Heart Association
