SSM Health - Illinois seeks a Wound Care - Nurse Practitioner to join their SSM Health - Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL and St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, Illinois. This position will be joining a very busy and productive Wound Care Practice in our ministry performing both clinic based wound care as well as supervising hyperbaric chamber treatments.

This is an employed position with SSM Health - Illinois, a premier hospital system located in Mt. Vernon and Centralia, Illinois, where easy access is available to St. Louis, Chicago, Evansville, Indianapolis & Louisville. The position is a Monday - Friday role and will have responsibilities at both our Centralia and Mt. Vernon, Illinois locations, however will be primarily based out of Centralia, Illinois location

Responsibilities include:

  • Weekly visits to treat acute and chronic wounds
  • Clearing patients and supervision of Hyperbaric oxygen treatments as an advanced modality to wound healing along with other advanced modalities.

Successful candidates will possess:

  • NP or PA license in the state of Illinois, or another state
  • Board certification
  • Previous experience as a Wound Care RN preferred but not required
  • Previous experience with hyperbaric chamber treatments preferred, but not required.
