JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC) required
- Licenses: Active TN RN License, Active TN NP License, TN DEA with Prescriptive Authority
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with TN address required
- Certifications: ACLS required
- Experience: 2 years recent Hospitalist experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
- Other Qualifications: Documentation of MMR and Varicella immunity (vaccines or titers); Two-Step TB Test within past 12 months (or QuantiFERON Gold); Case logs for previous 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide nocturnist hospital medicine services including admissions and cross-coverage.
- Manage acute care patients in collaboration with attending physicians.
- Perform history and physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and patient care coordination.
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR.
