Position Summary
Premier Inpatient Partners is seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider, APRN or PA, to provide high quality hospitalist care across assigned hospitals and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities. The APP will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients while working collaboratively with physicians, nursing teams, facility leadership, patients, families, and other members of the care team.
This role is ideal for a clinically strong, adaptable provider who can work effectively across multiple care settings, manage a dynamic patient population, communicate clearly, and contribute to safe and efficient patient care.

Practice Settings
The APP may provide hospitalist services at Premier Inpatient Partners designated locations, including:
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRFs)
- Acute care hospitals
- Additional hospital based or inpatient practice sites serviced by Premier Inpatient Partners, as assigned
Schedule and Coverage
- Full-time schedule consisting of seven consecutive days on for twelve hour shifts followed by seven consecutive days off.
- Providers will be scheduled for weekend and holiday coverage when those days fall within their scheduled seven day rotation.
- Travel between assigned practice sites within the service area may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage hospitalized and rehabilitation patients at assigned practice sites.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate plans of care within the APP's scope of practice.
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Perform admissions, follow up visits, discharge services, and other hospitalist services as assigned.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing, imaging, medications, and other diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, nursing teams, rehabilitation teams, case management, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Facilitate safe transitions of care and escalate or transfer patients to a higher level of care when clinically appropriate.
- Perform procedures within the APP's scope of practice, training, credentialing, and facility privileges.
- Provide on call coverage and respond to clinical needs or facility questions as assigned.
- Complete all clinical documentation, charge capture, and billing related requirements accurately and within required timeframes.
- Maintain complete and billable medical records consistent with company standards, facility requirements, payer requirements, and applicable law.
- Participate in required clinical meetings, facility committees, quality initiatives, and reasonable administrative activities related to patient care and privileges.
- Maintain proactive communication with Premier Inpatient Partners leadership regarding patient care concerns, operational barriers, facility needs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Comply with company policies, HIPAA, CMS requirements, facility policies, and all applicable federal and state laws and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Current unrestricted Florida APRN or Physician Assistant license, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current national board certification applicable to the provider's discipline.
- Current DEA registration and all other required prescribing credentials, or ability to obtain.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification and additional certifications as required by assigned facilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing, medical staff appointment, and clinical privileges at all assigned practice sites.
- Hospital medicine, acute care, internal medicine, rehabilitation, or other inpatient clinical experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently within scope of practice and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned facilities when required.
