Job description We are hiring an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a collaborative hospitalist team at a small, private Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital in Athens, GA. This role is ideal for an APP with hospital experience who enjoys caring for medically complex patients in a supportive, team-based environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Round on and manage a medically complex inpatient population

• Perform admissions, daily progress notes, and discharges (with physician sign-off)

• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, specialists, and nursing staff

• Perform procedures within your scope, training, and certification

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Hospital-based experience required

• Backgrounds considered: Med-Surg, ICU and ER

• LTAC experience a plus, not required

• Critical care experience strongly preferred

• New grads considered on a case-by-case basis with strong ICU experience

• Active Georgia PA or NP license (license-in-process may be considered)

• BLS required

• ACLS required (or obtained within 90 days)
