Seeking to hire a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our inpatient cardiology service.
Job Responsibilities
Manage cardiology service patients, including daily rounding, assessments, and follow-up care
Perform initial and follow-up cardiology consultations for admitted patients
Respond promptly to pages and address routine, urgent, and emergent patient care needs
Interpret and act on diagnostic studies such as EKGs, labs, telemet
Qualifications
Board Certified (AANP/ANCC for NP or NCCPA for PA)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Prior experience in cardiology, critical care, hospital medicine, or inpatient care preferred
