A unique opportunity awaits for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a specialty in mother-baby care. This role involves providing comprehensive healthcare to pregnant women and well newborns at a hospital setting in Johnstown, PA. The position offers a flexible schedule covering various 24-hour shifts throughout March to June, primarily focusing on midwife call coverage with in-house shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Job Responsibilities - Assess, diagnose, and manage care for adolescent and adult females focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum period, and gynecological needs. - Provide care to well newborns during the first 28 days of life. - Admit patients to the hospital under consultation with an MD. - Provide care in intensive care settings as per unit policies. - Assess and manage patients with emergent conditions in line with medical staff policy.

Qualifications - Board certified or board certification eligible - Willingness to come the day prior for orientation - Experience in mother-baby care is essential

Working Hours - 24-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM - Specific dates: March 12, 13, 17, 22, 23; April 10, 21, 27; May 8, 24, 26; June 5

Skills - Proficient in health promotion and disease prevention - Strong diagnostic and monitoring abilities - Excellent communication and patient management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
