Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist staff.

Description

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

This Hospitalist position is located at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta, NY. The community hospital is licensed for 53 med/surg beds. Subspecialty Services are available in Cardiology, General Surgery, Infectious disease, Orthopedics and a burgeoning telemedicine service including Psychiatry, Palliative Care, and Neurology. Bassett is an EPIC EMR Network.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 18 Hospitalist Physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians
• Evening & Day Shift Hours Required
• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000

Job Qualifications

• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• NYS Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• Previous Inpatient Experience Preferred, but not required
• DEA Required
