Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide nocturnist med surg coverage at multiple hospital locations
- Rotate primarily to critical access sites, covering higher and lower acuity cases
- Manage 1-4 admissions per night at critical access locations independently, without staff support
- Handle 10-12 admissions per night at larger facilities with MD and APP support
- Utilize Meditech, CPSI, Epic, and Cerner EMR systems as required by each site
- Deliver high-quality care while operating solo or as part of a team depending on the location
Additional Information
- Hospitalist experience required
- Active Illinois Nurse Practitioner license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must be comfortable working independently in solo coverage settings
- Familiarity with Meditech, CPSI, Epic, and Cerner EMR platforms is essential
