Role Description
This is a full-time role for Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioners (Hospitalist NPs) at Doctors of Clinical Specialties (DOCS Hospitalists). The role is open at our affiliate facilities in the following locations: Altamonte Springs, Winter Park, and Orlando, however this posting is for the dedicated day time NP position at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs.

Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
Completion of a graduate-level program in advanced practice nursing
Hold current national certification in a relevant specialty, such as Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, from an approved certifying body like the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
Working Hours
Day shifts. The physicians are on a round and go model and the NPs assist them with admissions, follow ups, discharges, and participation in MDRs. Admission phone needs to be held from 7a-7p
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a growing, agile, team-based environment
Experience with various electronic medical records (EMR) systems (especially Epic and eClinicalWorks)
Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong organizational skills
Experience in hospital-based committees or a desire to pursue growth within an value-based care organization is a huge plus.
