Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Acute Care APRN to join our Hospitalist Group in Edmond, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care, be committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment. This is a nocturnist position, providing coverage during overnight hours.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in the hospital setting.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to deliver seamless patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and addressing concerns.

Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay updated on current medical literature and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification.
  • Current and unrestricted APRN or PA license in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or hospitalist settings preferred but not required.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
