Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse, PRN - Hospice Littleton, CO

Schedule: Per Diem

Shift:  PRN - will vary, including 24-hour call shifts and face-to-face visits

Location: Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, Douglas, Elbert and Jefferson counties

The role you’ll contribute:

Evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages a wide range of medical conditions. Prescribes medications, develops patient treatment options, interprets and verifies test results, and collaborates with other healthcare providers for continued education to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Responsible for providing care for patients within the scope of licensure and as outlined in the FHW Protocols.

• Responsible for performing physical examinations of patients.

• Responsible for ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, x-ray, etc.

• Monitors the patient's course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed.

• Collaborates with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.

• Must display caring and professional attitude at all times as well as maintaining personal professional growth.
