Start: Mid-August (Flexible)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule

Ongoing inpatient coverage

Day & night shifts available
-
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (may transition to 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM in the fall)

Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Monthly schedule provided by the facility
Practice Details

Academic hospital
-
Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Hematology & Cellular Therapy
-
Adult patient population
-
Average daily census: 8–12 patients
-
Epic EMR
-
Support from attending physicians
Responsibilities
-
Bone marrow biopsies
-
Stem cell infusions and transfusions
-
Admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning
-
Patient and family education
-
Management of transplant and cellular therapy complications, including:
-
Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD)
-
Cytokine release syndrome (CRS)
-
Immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS)
-
Requirements
-
Board Certified NP or PA
-
Active Missouri license (or willing to obtain)
-
BLS required
-
ACLS preferred
-
Minimum 1.5–2 years of inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant APP experience
-
DEA not required
-
CSR not required
Credentialing

Timeframe varies
-
