We’re currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner - Hematology/Oncology to join our amazing team.

Details of the Opening:

• Start Date: mid - August (Flexible)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Coverage Type: Ongoing inpatient coverage; day and night shifts
• Night Shift: 1800–0700 (2 FTE) / Day Shift: 0700–1800 (1 FTE; may transition to 0700–1900 in the fall) / Coverage varies monthly; schedule provided by facility
• Support staff: Attending physicians
• Facility Type: Academic Hospital
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Hematology & Cellular Therapy
• EMR/Charting Software: Epic
• Avg. Daily Census: 8–12 patients
• Patient Age Group: Adult
• Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies, stem cell infusions/transfusions, admission, daily rounding, discharge planning, patient and family education, management of transplant and cellular therapy complications (GVHD, CRS, ICANS)

Requirements:

• Board Certification Required
• MO license required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• 1.5–2 years of inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant APP experience required
