Join our Oncology Nurse Practitioner team at a leading outpatient clinic within a hospital setting. This role involves working closely with an oncologist as well as independently, managing hematology oncology patients, and overseeing patient care in the infusion suite. The position offers a flexible schedule with potential full-time shifts spread over Monday to Thursday, with an opportunity to reduce to three 10-hour shifts if preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the oncology team and independently manage hematology oncology patients.
  • Manage patient care in the infusion suite, handle patient encounters, and respond to lab results.
  • Collaborate with the oncology nurse navigator to triage calls.
  • Complete charting and manage patient communications efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Active OR license and OR DEA
  • AONCP certification required
  • BLS required
  • Prefer a candidate with a clean background for expedited start date processing

Working Hours

  • Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with options for 10-hour shifts Monday–Wednesday

Skills

  • Experience in hematology oncology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Efficient with electronic medical records and patient management systems
