Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner Needed – Near Monrovia, CA
Start Date: April 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks; potential extension
Schedule
Full-time scheduled clinical hours
Day shifts available; 4×10-hour shifts or 5×8-hour shifts
No call
Flexible scheduling based on department needs
Practice Details
Acute care hospital inpatient oncology setting
Adult patient population only
Collaborative environment with physician and oncology care teams
EMR system utilized for documentation
Clinical Scope
Provide inpatient hematology and oncology care
Conduct daily rounding with physicians
Manage patient admissions and discharges
Evaluate, monitor, and treat adult oncology patients
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary oncology team
Document all patient encounters and clinical activity in EMR
Participate in standard inpatient clinical workflows and care coordination
Perform procedures within scope of practice; bone marrow biopsy experience preferred
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner – Hematology/Oncology
Board Certified
Active California license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of hematology/oncology experience required
Acute care experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a collaborative inpatient environment
Credentialing
Standard credentialing timeframe applies
Submission must include active license, certifications, and supporting credentials
Location
Located in the Greater Inland Empire region, supporting inpatient hematology and oncology services within a structured hospital-based clinical schedule.
