Join a collaborative oncology team in Lafayette, IN, providing high-impact care across outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings. This is a dynamic locum opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for oncology and hematology, offering a balanced schedule and meaningful clinical engagement.
Job Responsibilities
• Telehealth integrated into care delivery
• EMR: Cerner
Hospital Call Coverage
• Rotating every 4th or 5th week
• One full week at a time
• Weekday consults (M–F)
• Weekend rounding (Sat/Sun)
Practice Model
• Outpatient-focused care
• On-call provider manages new hospital consults
• NPs round on existing inpatients
• New consults assigned post-evaluation
Patient Mix :
70% Oncology
30% Hematology (primarily benign cases)
Qualifications
BLS Certification
Working Hours
Ambulatory clinic coverage with outpatient/inpatient responsibilities
