Post-Acute NP / PA | Monday–Friday | Main Line, PA
Job at a glance
Job description
The Opportunity
Post-acute and long-term care rounding on Philadelphia's Main Line, across three sites: Saunders House in Wynnewood, Meadowview Rehabilitation in Lafayette Hill and Chestnut Hill Lodge in Glenside. Sixteen to twenty patients a day, Monday to Friday, one weekend rotation. These are residents you see week after week, which changes what the work feels like compared with acute coverage.
What You'll Own
- A continuity panel of 16–20 patients a day across three Main Line sites.
- A weekday schedule — Monday to Friday days with one weekend rotation.
- Genuine longitudinal care. You manage chronic disease over months, not a 48-hour window.
- Point Click Care, built for post-acute documentation rather than adapted from acute care.
Must-Haves
- NP or PA
- Pennsylvania or New Jersey license, or eligibility in process
- NP applicants require FNP training
- Willingness to travel between three sites
Nice to Have
- Prior SNF, long-term care or assisted living experience
- Geriatrics interest or certification
- Point Click Care familiarity
What Working Here Is Actually Like
- $120,000–$130,000 on a 40-hour week.
- Three weeks PTO.
- Full W-2 benefits. Medical, dental and vision from the first of the month after hire; employer-paid life at 1x salary up to $300,000; employer-paid long-term disability at 60% of salary; 401(k). The benefit plan year runs 1 October to 30 September.
- Malpractice and tail both covered. Tail is the one people forget to ask about until they leave.
- Point Click Care.
- The Main Line. Established suburbs, strong schools, and Center City reachable by regional rail.
- Physician-owned and physician-managed since 2012. When you escalate a problem, it reaches a physician who still works clinical shifts.
- Not a locums agency. An ongoing program position with a named, stable team.
Straight Talk
Three sites means real driving between Wynnewood, Lafayette Hill and Glenside. Confirm the mileage policy with us up front — it's the single thing most likely to change how this job feels a year in. NP applicants need FNP training specifically, which is a site requirement rather than ours.
About Inhospital Physicians (IHP): IHP is a physician-owned and physician-managed group, headquartered in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania and operating since 2012, running Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, Intensivist and post-acute programs for acute-care hospitals, LTACHs and health systems across multiple states. IHP is not a locums agency; these are ongoing program positions with stable, named teams.
