Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Hybrid) - Snohomish County, WA

Shifts: Days (Mon-Fri)

The schedule includes day shifts with 3 clinical days, 1 administrative day, and 3 days off, along with rotational on-call weekends. On-call duties are conducted via phone only

Job Description:

We are looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, who have a passion for treating the geriatric population and should be well-versed in the common conditions that are presented in this demographic, such as dementia, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar, and other mood disorders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and mental health evaluations.

• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans, emphasizing evidence-based interventions and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

• Prescribe and manage medications for addiction and other health conditions, monitoring efficacy and side effects.

• Provide ongoing patient education and counseling on substance abuse, health maintenance, and disease prevention.

• Medical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members, such as clinical staff and other patient care team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.

Qualification/Experience:

• Master's degree or Doctorate Degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

• Minimum 2-3 Years of experience working with Geriatric Population

• New Graduates are also accepted

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current license to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the State of Washington

• Active DEA License
