Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner – Potsdam, NY

- Experience: Minimum 3 years recent experience in a clinical setting
- Hourly Pay Rate: $111.39

- Evaluate medical issues of adult patients in a Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine setting
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members on patient care and treatment plans
- Provide patient education about preventive care, medications, and treatments
- Document assessments, diagnoses, procedures, and referrals accurately in EPIC
- Manage complex cases, including high-priority and diagnostic challenges, with appropriate referrals
- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications relevant to gastrointestinal conditions
- Ensure compliance with coding, billing, and documentation standards
Required:
- NY State Nurse Practitioner License
- AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a clinical setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Epic electronic charting experience
- Board Certification in family or internal medicine as applicable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
