🌟 Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dynamic Gastroenterology team based in Meridian, Idaho, with coverage across Boise and Nampa. 🏔️

This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic care and inpatient GI management, focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum. 💙

The ideal provider will bring strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to a multidisciplinary GI team. Prior gastroenterology experience is preferred, but motivated candidates from acute care, family medicine, urgent care, women’s health, or cardiology are encouraged to apply. 🌟

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• 🧑‍⚕️ Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical exams
• 📋 Review medical histories and assess GI conditions
• 🧪 Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing (labs & imaging)
• 💊 Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders
• 🧾 Prescribe and manage treatment plans and medications
• 📚 Provide patient education on GI health, procedures, and prevention
• 🏥 Ensure continuity of care across outpatient and inpatient settings
• 💻 Maintain accurate documentation (EPIC experience preferred)
• 🤝 Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and care teams
• 📈 Participate in ongoing learning and clinical development

🎯 Qualifications

• 🎓 Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• 🪪 Active or eligible Idaho license
• 🎓 Master’s degree required (Doctorate is a plus 🎓✨)
• 🏥 Minimum 1 year of Gastroenterology experience required
• 🧠 Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills
• 💬 Excellent patient communication and education abilities
• 🤝 Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• 📜 Understanding of healthcare compliance and documentation standards

🗓️ Schedule

• 🏥 Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 🏨 Inpatient coverage: Rotating schedule based on needs
• 🌙 Occasional night call may be required
