- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 12 patients and 5 beds in the department.

Job Responsibilities
* Work closely with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for hospitalized patients.
* Perform procedures and manage patient conditions related to gastroenterology.
* Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in the Epic EMR system.
* Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
Qualifications
* Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Nurse Practitioner.
* Previous experience in inpatient gastroenterology is preferred.
* Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting.
* Strong knowledge of gastroenterology conditions and treatments.
Working Hours
* Coverage required ASAP and ongoing.
* Credentialing timeframe of 60 days.
Skills
* Experience with the Epic EMR system.
* Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to work independently and in collaboration with the medical team.
* Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
