Job description High-demand Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner locums opportunity in Tucson, Arizona for an experienced NP ready to support ongoing GI coverage needs with scheduled clinical hours only. This is an excellent assignment for a provider who enjoys inpatient GI medicine, is confident managing rounding responsibilities, and wants a stable long-term locums role with consistent scheduling. Job Responsibilities

• Provide Gastroenterology NP coverage during scheduled clinical hours
• Perform inpatient rounding and daily GI patient management
• Support GI consults and follow-up care planning
• Coordinate with GI physicians and hospital teams for continuity of care
• Monitor and document patient progress and treatment response
• Educate patients and families on GI conditions and care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Active Arizona NP license required to bid
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner required
• ABLS required
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• Strong inpatient GI experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with rounding responsibilities and GI patient management

Working Hours

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing coverage
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
• Call Requirement: None
• Ongoing availability strongly preferred for consistent coverage support
